Zekova Glava

Zekova Glava is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.089m (6,853ft) above the sea level, located in Ivangrad District, in northeastern Montenegro.

This infamous gravel road to the summit is bumped. It is subject to winter snowfalls with such a high summit altitude, and it can be closed anytime when the access is not cleared of snow. Make sure you get your vehicle and yourself well-prepared before driving this road. At the summit there’s a communication tower.

4wd vehicle required. Expect a trail pretty steep. Starting from Vranjak, the ascent is 6.0km long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 417 meters. The average gradient is 6.95%. Proper preparation is essential to having a safe, enjoyable trip on this road.
