Qafë Vranicë is an international high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.630m (5,347ft) above the sea level, located along the border between Albania and Montenegro.
Located in the Albanian mountains, the road to the summit is gravel. 4x4 recommended. The road is pretty steep. Do not travel this road in severe weather conditions. Avalanches, heavy snowfalls and landslides can occur anytime, being extremely dangerous due to frequent patches of ice. This track can get very muddy and slippery after rain making it challenging to get through. During and after a storm the road may be impassable, even with a four-wheel-drive vehicle.
