Lake Sušica is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 1.163m (3,815ft) above the sea level, located within the Durmitor National Park, in Montenegro.
The road starts from the small town of Nedajno. It’s a forest road with numerous hairpin turns. It’s 8.1 km long. The road is quite narrow, but offers magnificent views. If you meet a car coming in the opposite direction it’ll be quite an experience to find a place to pass each other! The road was recently asphalted. Drive with care as this is a mountain road with hairpin curves and dangerous dropoffs. You might want to take this into consideration if you have passengers that don't like heights. Be prepared, this road is not for the faint of heart or ill prepared. One mistake can have serious consequences. In the summer time, specially in late summer, the water of Sušičko lake disapears and you can see just a green grassy meadow.
