P79 is a very scenic road located in the Vidzeme region, in the northeastern part of Latvia.
How Long is P79 Road?
The regional road is 38km (23.61 miles) long. It runs north-south from Ērgļi (a small town on the banks of the Ogre river in Ērgļi Municipality) to Koknese (a historic town in the Koknese Municipality on the right bank of the Daugava River).
Is P79 Road Unpaved?
It’s mostly unpaved, with some paved parts at its ends. The road is important for the entrepreneurs of the Koknese region. After heavy rains, the road becomes pretty defiant.
