Set high in the Albanian mountains, the pass links the Gjakova District of western Kosovo and the Kukës County of northern Albania.

The road to the summit is fully paved. It’s called M9-1 (in Kosovo) and SH-22 (in Albania).

How long is Qafa e Morinës?

The pass is 18.2 km (11.30 miles) long, running east-west from Ponoshec (in Kosovo) to Bajram Curri (in the Gjakova Highlands of Albania).
