The road to Akhuk-Dara Pass, scary and impressive at the same time

Pereval Akhuk-Dara is an international high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.104m (6,902ft) above the sea level located on the border of Georgia and Ruassia, in the Caucasus Mountains.

The pass lies within the Ritsa National Reserve. The road to the summit is mostly paved. It is scary and impressive at the same time. It’s worth seeing at least once. The road is usually impassable from October to June (weather permitting).
