Qafë Botë is an international mountain pass at an elevation of 137m (449ft) above the sea level located on the Albanian-Greek border.

Where is Qafë Botë border crossing?

Set high in the Albanian mountains, the pass is known as the Neck-of-the-World border point. The pass links Vlorë County in Albania and Epirus region in northwestern Greece. The border crossing is now open 24 hours a day. It serves more than 600,000 crossings per year.

How long is Qafë Botë?

The road to the border is totally paved in very good conditions. In Albania it’s called SH97. The pass is 19.7 km (12.24 miles) long, running from Asprokklisi (in Greece) to Çiflig (in Albania).
