Qafë Botë, a border paved road in the Albanian mountains

Qafë Botë is an international mountain pass at an elevation of 137m (449ft) above the sea level located on the Albanian-Greek border.

Tucked away in the Albanian mountains, the pass is known as the Neck-of-the-World border point. The pass links Vlorë County in Albania and Epirus region in northwestern Greece.

The road to the border is totally paved in very good conditions. In Albania it’s called SH97. The pass is 19.7 km (12.24 miles) long, running from Asprokklisi (in Greece) to Çiflig (in Albania).
