Borradaile Plains Track

How To Travel The Borradaile Plains Track

Borradaile Plains Track is the name of an easy and scenic track (in dry weather) located in the local government areas of Meander Valley and Kentish in the North West region of Tasmania.

The road is totally unpaved. It’s 18.2 km (11.30 miles) long, running from C171 to Gads Hill Road. A 4x4 vehicle is required. It’s an easy drive in dry weather but the track gets very muddy during the winter or after rain, creating sections of boggy ground and deep water. During the rainy season there is often flooding on the track.

The road tops out at 845m (2,772ft) above the sea level and it’s especially beautiful in winter when snow has fallen. Surrounded by an idyllic landscape the road provides countless opportunities to snap some photos.
