Basin-Olinda Road is a very scenic unpaved mountain road located in central-south Victoria, Australia.

Located within the Dandenong Ranges, the road is mostly unpaved. Only paved at the start and the end. The road is 6.7 km (4,16 miles) long, running east-west from the Basin, a suburb of Melbourne, at 175m above the sea level, to Olinda, at 507masl.

The road is steep, hitting a 10.5% of maximum gradient through some of the ramps The elevation gain is 332 meters and the average gradient is 4.95%. It’s susceptible to storm damage and the road condition may change over time.
