Tucked away in the Great Western Woodlands, the road is totally unpaved. It’s 141 km (87 miles) long, running south-north from Hyden Norseman Road to Coolgardie. The road tops out at 490m (1,607ft) above the sea level.
This wide well maintained unpaved road is suitable for all vehicles, with a maximum 3.5 tonne limit. It’s recommended to drive carefully at all times and to be aware of local conditions. It can be adversely affected by rain.
