QL 4C is a very scenic drive located in the far North of Vietnam, close to the border with China.
The road is very curvy, with several hairpin turns and loose gravel on some sections. It runs from Yen Minh to Meo Vac along the Dong Van karst plateau Geopark. The drive is simply incredible. This striking landscape contains both geological and archaeological wonders.
The road, located in the Ha Giang province, is asphalted. It’s 213 km long. There are sheer drops virtually along the entire route and enough hairpins to make a whirling dervish dizzy. This is an exquisite winding mountain drive with sharp and blind curves and hairpin switchbacks leading the traveler over the mountains. The area has many gigantic beautiful sceneries, special beautiful sites, diverse and endemic geological system, various groups of valuable and rare animals and vegetables, geological heritages at regional and international levels.
