The Ultimate Guide to Dorah Pass
Dorah Pass is an international high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.538m (14,888ft) above the sea level, located on the border of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Tucked away in the Hindu Kush mountain range, the road to the summit, also known as Durah Pass, is totally unpaved. 4x4 vehicles only. The pass links the Badakhshan Province in northeastern Afghanistan and the Chitral District of the Malakand Division, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Accessibility is largely limited to the summer season. This pass played an important role in the war, as this was an important supply route from Pakistan to Afghanistan that the Soviets were never able to shut off.
