Atash Sang Peak is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 3,460m (11,351ft) above sea level, located in Iran. It’s one of the highest roads in the country.

Where is Atash Sang Peak?
The pass is located to the east of the iconic Kandovan Pass, on the boundary between Alborz and Mazandaran provinces, in the northern part of the country. The area is popular for its stunning caves and mines.
Is the road to Atash Sang Peak unpaved?
The road to the summit is totally unpaved. It’s not an easy drive, with many curves—most of them hairpin turns near the summit. A 4x4 vehicle is required. The drive is not for the faint of heart, as the climb features dangerous drops.
How long is the road to Atash Sang Peak?
Starting from Pol-e Zanguleh, also known as Pole Zangoole, the road to the summit is 23.49km (14.6 miles) long.
