National Highway 33 in India

National Highway 33 in India is haunted by a white lady

Located in the Indian state of Jharkhand, the road linking Ranchi and Jamshedpur is said to be haunted by a white lady. Most of the accidents occur at night on this stretch of the highway.

The road is totally paved. It’s called National Highway 33 (NH 33). People are actually so scared of venturing out on this highway that temples have been established on both ends of it for travellers to pray at before venturing out. This highway is surrounded by different unfolded mysteries and stories. It is said that even safe driving and prayers cannot save a person while he is driving through thishighway.A total of 245 persons died here from 2010 to 2013. It is probably the only place in the country where the number of fatal accidents is more than the number of non fatal accidents.
