Tata Road in India is haunted by a white lady

Located in the Indian state of Jharkhand, Tata Road is said to be haunted by a white lady. Most of the accidents occur at night on this stretch of the highway.

How long is Tata Road in India?

Located within the Chandil-Gamharia Range, the road, part of National Highway 43 (NH 43), is 84.6 km (52.5 miles) long, running north-southeast from Ranchi to Jamshedpur. It's totally paved.

Why is Tata Road in India famous?

People are actually so scared of venturing out on this highway that temples have been established on both ends of it for travelers to pray at before venturing out. This highway is surrounded by different unfolded mysteries and stories. It is said that even safe driving and prayers cannot save a person while driving through this highway. A total of 245 persons died here from 2010 to 2013. It is probably the only place in the country where the number of fatal accidents is more than the number of non-fatal accidents.
