Zhanailakashan Pass
Zhanailakashan Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.760m (15,616ft) above the sea level, located in Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in southern Qinghai province, China.
The road to the summit is asphalted. It’s called S309 (309 Provincial Road). Open to traffic throughout the year, may be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad. Do not take this drive if you have respiratory problems or any type of heart condition. Altitude and extreme weather are always a factor at any time of year.
