Chumarleb (Qumalai)
The Chumarleb (Qumalai) is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.690m (15,384ft) above the sea level, located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.
The road to the summit is called 308 Provincial Road. It’s asphalted in pretty good conditions. The temperatures here in the winter are brutally cold. High winds blow here all year long. This pass is found on the road between Yushu and Longbaozhen, way out in the middle of nowhere.
