The road through the summit is entirely unpaved. It’s called 504 road. It’s a difficult drive, with narrow parts, steep sections, dangerous drops, and countless turns, including 25 hairpin turns. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended.

The road is 28.7 km (17.83 miles) long, running from Ruobaxiang to Karuozhen on the G214 Road.

Is the Road Through Dri La open in winter?
