How To Travel The Qinwang Winding Road
Qinwang Winding Road is the name of a breathtaking drive in the prefecture-level city of Xingtai, in the southern part of Hebei province, China. This winding asphalted road will make you excited and dizzy.
Tucked away in the Taihang Mountains, the road is totally paved and runs above the Qinwang Lake (originally named Dongshiling reservoir), about 40 kilometers away from the urban area of Shahe City.
Built between two mountains, the road features countless curves, switchbacks and pigtails (turns which loop over their own road, allowing the road to climb rapidly). It is not suitable for those who get dizzy.
