Why is it called Guangzhou Green Tunnel Road?

Dubbed as the most beautiful tunnel in Guangzhou, the tunnel is part of the Huangpu Avenue Tunnel, located to the west of Huangpu Avenue, in Tianhe District. The top of the tunnel features open square windows, surrounded by green plants, hence the name.

When was the Guangzhou Green Tunnel Road completed?

Located northwest of Hong Kong, in the southern part of the country, the tunnel was completed in 2000 at a cost of about 180 million yuan (approx. $28 million).
