Get behind the wheels for Guangzhou Green Tunnel Road
Guangzhou Green Tunnel Road is the name of a very scenic tunnel with open windows on the top located in Guangzhou, the capital and the largest city f Guangdong province in southern China.
Dubbed as the most beautiful tunnel in Guangzhou, the tunnel is part of the Huangpu Avenue Tunnel, located to the west of Huangpu Avenue, in Tianhe District. The top of the tunnel features open square windows, surrounded by green plants, hence the name.
Located northwest of Hong Kong, the tunnel was completed in 2000 at a cost of about 180 million yuan (approx. $28 million).
