562 Country Road is a defiant high mountain road located in Zogong County, in the Chamdo Prefecture of Tibet Autonomous Region, China.

The road is totally unpaved and very challenging with hairpin turns and blind corners. It’s 19.2 km (11.93 miles) long, running north-south from China National Highway 214 to Gaiwa, a small village on Nujiang River. The road is pretty steep and tops out at 4.287m (14,064ft) above the sea level. 4x4 vehicle recommended. Drive at moderate speed. You’re not on a race.
