Youzhuda Grand Canyon Wall Road

Youzhuda Grand Canyon Wall Road is a drive you'll never forget

Located in Huailai county, in northwestern Hebei province, in China, the Youzhuda Grand Canyon Wall Road is a very challenging drive. It’s one of the famous Chinese tunnel roads.

The Youzhuda Grand Canyon Wall Road is excavated on the cliff above the Yongding river. The road is challenging and scary. Located at the border of Hebei, it’s a two-way asphalt road and becomes a gravel road with a lane inside the tunnel.

The windows carved along the road offer wonderful views of the Yongding river. The road is surrounded by mountains on one side and canyons on the other. The road is steep, hitting a 7.6% through some of the ramps.
