Chongnye La, a chillout in high mountains

Chongnye La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.478m (14,691ft) above the sea level, located in the east of the Tibet Autonomous Region, in China.

The road to the summit, also known as Chuni-la o Tsuni-la, is paved. It’s called G317 (China National Highway 317). Open to traffic throughout the year, may be closed for short periods in winter when the weather is bad. The pass is 41.5 km long, running west-east from Sezhaxiang to Dêngqên.
