Pendang La: enjoy a road among the clouds
Pendang La is a high mountain pass, at an elevation of 4.848m (15,905ft) above the sea level, located in Xigazê Prefecture in China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
Located in western Tibet, the road to the summit is unpaved. It’s called X217 road. Accessibility is largely limited to the summer season. Facilities like electricity, medical aid, hot running water, western toilets etc. are rare to find. The road is 188 km long running from Zhongba to Saga.
