
Jiajinshan Pass: a road you really wish you would drive at least once in your lifetime
Jiajinshan Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.102m (13,458ft) above the sea level, located in the western part of Sichuan province, China.
Located in the heart of the Jiajin mountains, the road to the summit is paved. It’s called 210 Provincial Road (S210). This high mountain road is 193 km long running from Feixianguanzhen (at an elevation of 1.018m above the sea level) towards Daweixiang (at 2.917m).
The pass is usually open all year round. Expect countless hairpin turns and curves.The drive is definitely worth it. The climb is pretty steep, and hits about 9-11% through some of the corners.
