Y773 is an otherworldly road
773 Country Road is a high mountain road located in Ngari Prefecture in China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
Located on southern Tibet, the road is unpaved. 4x4 vehicle required. On this road you're firmly on altitudes over 5.000m above the sea level. For an unacclimatized person this can be fatal. The entire range is little visited, partly due to its isolated location.
Remember this is a mountainous area, climbing up a high mountain, with a notorius absence of oxygen. The road is 102 km (63 mile) long running north-south from S301 Road to X710 Road. It’s. It tops out at 5.370m (17,618ft) above the sea level, at Lamo Latse La.
