
A memorable road trip to Endoumeni Pass
Endoumeni Pass is a mountain pass at an elevation of 1.375m (4,511ft) above the sea level, located in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa.
The road to the summit is totally paved. It's called R68 and links Dundee and Wasbank. The road over the pass is pretty steep, with a maximum gradient of 1:15. The road's winding design, providing stunning panoramic views, is very curvy and fun for a leisurely ride, so it pays to take it slow. The pass road is 5,87 km long, located just to the South West of Dundee in KZN. The pass gains/loses 258 vertical meters producing a comfortable average gradient of 1:22. The steeper sections are at 1:15.
