Ekok bridge

A two-lane international bridge over the Cross River

Ekok bridge is  a continuous concrete box girder deck with six spans on the Cross river on the Cameroon-Nigeria border. It’s one of the most spectacular bridges in the world.

The two-lane international bridge on the Cameroon-Nigeria Border in Ekok-Mfum is 403m long over the Cross River. The area is dangerous with conflicts between Cameroon's military and armed separatists. The bridge replaced a suspension bridge built in the 1950s.
