Tizi n’Rsas

Tizi n’Rsas is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.785m (9,137ft) above the sea level, located in Béni Mellal-Khénifra region of Morocco. It’s one of the highest roads of the country. The road is extreme, with an average gradient of 17.7%.

The road to the summit, located in the Atlas mountain range, is rocky and gravel. The climb is very steep via 5 hairpin turns. Starting from the asphalted road to Aït Tous, the ascent is 672.32m (2,205ft) long. Over this distance the elevation gain is 119 meters. The average gradient is 17.7%.Menacing desert terrain with numerous steep, rocky climbs. At the summit is a communication tower. High clearance, skid plates and differential lockers required. No stock vehicles. Very hot in summer. Carry plenty of water.
