Driving the 4x4 road to Tizi n’Tadermant is not a piece of cake

Tizi n’Tadermant is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2,799m (9,183ft) above sea level, located in the Drâa-Tafilalet region of Morocco. It’s one of the highest roads in the country.

The pass, also known as Ari n' Tadermant, is located to the west of Tizi n’Termant, a mountain pass at 2,960m (9,711ft) above sea level, north of Tinghir, in the central part of the country.

How long is Tizi n’Tadermant?

Set high in the Atlas Mountains, the road through the pass is totally unpaved, in pretty bad condition. A 4x4 vehicle is required. The pass is 51.17km (31.8 miles) long, running east-west from Bou Azmou to Zerchane.
