Tizi n’Termant is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2,960m (9,711ft) above sea level, located in the Drâa-Tafilalet region of Morocco. It’s one of the highest roads in the country.

The pass, also known as Ari n' Tadermant, is located to the east of Tizi n’Tadermant, a mountain pass at 2,799m (9,183ft) above sea level, north of Tinghir, in the central part of the country.

The road through the pass is totally unpaved, in pretty bad condition. A 4x4 vehicle is required.

How long is Tizi n’Termant?

The pass is 51.17km (31.8 miles) long, running east-west from Bou Azmou to Zerchane.

Is Tizi n’Termant open year-round?

Set high in the Atlas Mountains, the road is totally impassable in winters due to heavy snowfalls.
