Tizi n’Tissili n’Imenaine

The breathtaking road to Tizi n’Tissili n’Imenaine

Tizi n’Tissili n’Imenaine is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.776m (9,107ft) above the sea level, located in Azilal Province of the Tadla-Azilal region of Morocco. It’s one of the highest mountain roads of the country.

Set high in the High Atlas range, the road to the summit is totally unpaved but navigable by all passenger vehicles in dry weather. It’s called R302. Accessibility is largely limited to the summer season. It is not generally snow-free until late June or even July in some years. The pass road is 44km (27.34 miles) long, running from Tamda to Zaouiat Ahansal.
