Set high on the east side of the High Atlas Mountains, the road to the summit, also known as Tizi n'Tirherhouzine, is fully paved since 2014. It’s called R703. The road is pretty defiant, with hairpin turns, steep sections and dangerous weather conditions.

How long is Tizi Tigherrouzine?

Tucked away in the central part of the country, the pass is 34.4 km (21.37 miles) long, running north-south from Agoudal to Aït Hani.
