The road is 404 km (251 miles) long and runs north-south from Tibati (in the Adamawa Region) to Batchenga, also known as Batschenga (in the Centre Region).
Is the N15 Road in Cameroon unpaved?
The road is pretty defiant, as it’s mostly unpaved, with a few asphalt sections. A 4x4 vehicle is recommended to complete the drive. The road features countless turns and steep sections, topping out at 1,004 m (3,293 ft) above sea level.
Do I need to take a ferry to drive the N15 Road in Cameroon?
For many years, in order to complete the drive, it was necessary to take a ferry to cross the Sanaga Lake. On February 21, 2020, a new bridge over the lake was completed, known as Pont Batchenga.
