
SC-439 is the road that crosses the Serra do Corvo Blanco (Road of the White Crow Mountains). This road climbs 1,470 m in 5 kilometers long, of hairpin turns, steep descents and breathtaking cliffs, and with an unforgettable panoramic view.
The road links Serra do Corvo Branco Urubici with the coast of Santa Catarina (Brazil). Leaving Urubici are 30km of dirt road to the top of the mountain, where is largest vertical cut made in rock in Brazil (90 m).

At this point starts the descent of the mountain toward the coast. The first 600m are paved, with very tight curves and viewpoints in each of the curves. Then are coming more than 27km to the next town: Grão Pará. The Brazilian Government recommends not going by this road with rain or fog, and isn’t recommended for buses or large vehicles.
