
Guachucal is a town and municipality in the Nariño Department, Colombia, at an elevation of 3.285m (10.777ft) above the sea level. It’s the highest settlement in Colombia. The paved road to access to the town, called via Ipiales and via Túquerres, starts in Pasto. After 85km it arrives to Ipiales, which is 26km far from Guachucal.
