Crystal Mountain North is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 2.090m (6,856ft) above the sea level, located in the Cascade Range of Washington, in Pierce County. It’s one of the highest mountain roads of Washington.
The road to the summit, located within the Crystal Mountain Resort, is gravel, rocky, tippy and bumpy at times. It’s a chairlift access trail. The road is impassable from October to June (weather permitting). Great trail for experienced wheelers.
Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 vehicle required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. Wet conditions may make for tough driving along the muddy road.
