Josh I checked out your map display with text layout and it is good. Size of map could be a bit bigger and zoom could be closer.

This seems to be a different data type than we were using previously (that was map & event map). Can you set up an enter data form for the home page so I can go through the steps to create a new event and event map?

One thing I haven't figured out, which relates to the creation form, is what the title of each of these pages is going to be. Currently they're title "Home" and "Testing" but those aren't very descriptive names. What do you think the names should be like? "--Street--, --City--" or "--Street--, --City--, --State--" ? Or Something else?

I've also made a few changes to the form (removed Country option, and got rid of the multiple street fields, and updated the javascript)

This is very exciting! Nice work.

To address event creation:

I think that it will not work to expect users to create an event by entering a unique url in the address window - so an event creation and data entry form is a must.

I think users would appreciate the option of going back and being able to edit the name of their event AFTER they write the description. But your suggestion of the address being the default title is a good one. Can this field be editable later?

The editable title and street ability was an issue, I think I have a good solution for that and the creation form.. I'll have it up in a little bit.

Ok, here's the New Entry Form... and with the new setup, the old links aren't going to work, but you can still look at the old entries in the ChangeLog

looks good. I entered a location in london and it showed in google maps!

I guess links and search methods will be the next thing to look at, setting up links to related searches on the event display page. more later today...

Yeah, I wasn't sure if you wanted this to be an international site or not, I can add the country field back... and we can add check functions so that the zip field has to be integers.

Let me know what kind of searching you have in mind..
