Located in Flakstadøya, an island in the Lofoten archipelago in Nordland county, Norway, the Fv805 road is one of the best coastal drives in the world.
The scenic road is 5.5 km (3.41 miles) long running east-west alongside the Norwegian Sea shore, on the northern part of the island of Flakstadøya. The track is mostly paved (2km are unpaved) and offers stunning views.
It starts off the European route E10 highway just north of Napp (a small beautiful fishing village and an upcoming tourist destination) running towards Myrland. Always check the weather forecast before you start your journey: adverse conditions are common.
