Lindesnes Lighthouse is a coastal lighthouse located in the the most southern point on the mainland of Norway. It’s reached by the asphalted Rv460.

Lindesnes fyrstasjon

The road to the lighthouse, located in the peninsula Neset, is asphalted but pretty narrow. The lighthouse was built in 1655 and strong currents and difficult winds had made the waters notorious among North Sea sailors.

Inside the lighthouse there’s a museum, occupying the southernmost tip of the Norwegian mainland. It’s surrounded by beautiful landscape, right by the sea, often with storm and big waves. There is a visitors' car park at the lighthouse.
