Sa Crabarissa
Sa Crabarissa is a natural landmark, resembling a woman, located in the Provincia di Nuoro, in the Italian island of Sardinia.
The road to this impressive natural landmark standing out in the countryside, is 7.6km long. The surface of the road is gravel. A 4WD vehicle is recommended. It’s pretty narrow. It shouldn’t be attempted by those who don't know how to reverse. Nestled in the Mandrolisai mountains, the road is pretty steep, climbing up to 713m above the sea level. There are many excellent photo opportunities. Don't forget your camera with lots of film/memory, fully charged batteries and an empty memory card! At the summit there’s a big parking lot.
