Els Cortals is a drive worth taking

Alt Els Cortals d’Encamp is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.068m (6,784ft) above the sea level, located in the Encamp parish of Andorra. 

The road to the summit is asphalted and features many steep sections (up to 12.5%). The climb has been featured in the Spanish Vuelta a España. Starting from Andorra, the ascent is 13 km long. Over this distance, the elevation gain is 900 meters. The average percentage is 6.9 %.
