Mingtur Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 3.707 meters (12,162 feet) above the sea level located in Ysyk-Köl, Kyrgyzstan.
The road to the pass is extreme. Extremely narrow, with gravel, and impassable for normal vehicles. Just bycicles and some 4x4 cars. The climb is clinging to steep, rice-terraced, and scree-sloped canyons. Be ready to be riding at high altitudes and in extreme weather conditions. The top of the pass can be cold and windy. The views back across to the spectacular Tien Shan and the black pyramid of Khan Tengri are among the best in central Asia.
