Hor La
Hor La is a high mountain peak at an elevation of 4.908m (16,102ft) above the sea level, located in Leh District, Jammu and Kashmir in northern India
The road to the summit is asphalted. The road is usually impassable in winters. Great trail for experienced wheelers. Avoid driving in this area if unpaved mountain roads aren't your strong point. 4x4 required. Stay away if you're scared of heights. Expect a trail pretty steep. This is a great little climb, up from the Indus at Mahe, past Nungompa and the spectacular Yaye Tso lake.
