Rangdum Monastery

Rangdum Monastery is an imposing 18th century Buddhist monastery, at an elevation of 4,031 m (13,225 ft) above the sea level, located in the head of the Suru Valley, in Ladakh, a region of India in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

The Chalakudy - Valparai Road is a very scenic drive going through the Sholayar Reserve Forest, in India, passing through a thick deciduous forest, tea plantations, and the famous Athirapally waterfall.

 

Shingo La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 5,091 m (16,703 ft) above the sea level, located on the border between Jammu and Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh, in India.

Located in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh, in India, the Karcham – Chitkul road is one of the most exciting drives in the world. The road includes gravel and asphalt sections bordered by a drop of hundreds of meters (many hundreds of feet) unprotected by guardrails.

Neelum Valley Road

Neelum Valley Road is a spectacular and dangerous high mountain road going through the Neelam Valley (also spelled Neelum Valley) at North and North-East of Muzaffarabad in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan, running parallel to Kaghan Valley and the Indian border.

 

Sapi La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4.397m (14,425 ft) above the sea level, located in Ladakh, a region of India in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Tsomgo Lake is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 3.753 m (12,313 ft) above the sea level, located in the East Sikkim of the Indian state of Sikkim.

 

Gangotri is a small town situated on the foot of Himalayas in the northern part of the state of Uttarakhand, India, at an elevation of 3.415 m (11,204 ft) above the sea level. The road to the town runs along vertical cliffs with no guardrails.

 

Tso Moriri is one of the largest of the High Altitude Lakes in the the Himalayan mountains, in Jammu and Kashmir in northern India. The lake lies at an elevation of 4.522 m (14,836 ft) above the sea level.

 

NH 183A is a curvy mountain road located in the state of Kerala, south India. This track can get very muddy and slippery after rain making it challenging to get through.

 

Bomdila is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.608m (8,556 ft) above the sea level, located in the state of Arunachal Pradesh in India.

 

Debsa Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 5.360m (17,590 ft) above the sea level, located in the Himalaya mountains, in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh.

Located in the Indian state of Uttarakhand, the Jyotirmath - Malari road is an asphalted high mountain road within the Nanda Devi National Park.

 

Sangetsar Lake is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 3.708m above the sea level located  in the Tawang district, in the northwestern part of Arunachal Pradesh in India. It’s one of the remotest high altitude lakes in India.

 

Varandha Ghat Valley View is a natural scenic lookout at an elevation of 545m above the sea level, located  in the state of Maharashtra, India.

 

Indian Astronomical Observatory is an observatory at an elevation of 4.500 m (14,764 ft) above the sea level, located in Ladakh, in the Indian state ofJammu and Kashmir.
