Pensi-la is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4,400 m (14,436 ft) above the sea level located in the Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir, in India. The pass is traversed by a metalled road.

 

Fotu La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4,108 m (13,478 ft) above the sea level, located in the Himalayas Zaskar Range in India.

 

Lamayuru Monastery is a high mountain monastery at an elevation of 3,510 m.  (11,515ft) above the sea level, located in Kargil District, Western Ladakh, India.

Bara-lacha la is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4,890 m (16,043 ft) above the sea level, located in Zanskar range, in India.

 

Tso Kar is a high mountain lake at an elevation of 4,530 metres (14,860 ft) above the sea level, located in the southern part of Ladakh in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Nakee-la is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 15,647 ft (4.769 m) above the sea level, located  in Ladakh region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Jauljibi - Madkote Road

Jauljibi - Madkote Road is a very scary cliff road located in the Indo-Nepal border. The road is in dreadful condition and requires strong nerves to negotiate it. If your GPS ever thinks it's a good idea to drive on this road, it may be time to get a new one!

 

Lachulung La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 5,059 m (16,598 ft) above the sea level, located in the Himalayas, on the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh (Jammu and Kashmir) in India.

 

Located in India, in the state of Jharkhand, the road linking Ranchi and Jamshedpur is said to be haunted by a white lady.

 

Nathu La is an international high mountain pass at an elevation of 4,310 m (14,140 ft) above the sea level, located in the Himalayas, on the border between China and India. It is one of the highest motorable roads in the world.

 

Located along the coast of the Bay of Bengal, in India, the East Coast Road is well known for its scenic beauty and wonderful drive through the nature along with sea. But it has a particular stretch which is rumoured to be haunted by ghostly apparitions, generally a lady in a white saree, which has caused many riders and drivers to lose focus and crash.

 

Namshang La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4,960 m (16,273 ft) above the sea level, located in Ladakh region of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

The Chushul – Mahe road is a very challenging road located in Leh District, Jammu and Kashmir in northern India. Locals claim the road as ‘hell’.

 

Kyagar Tso is a very small saline water lake at an elevation of 4.705m (15,436 ft) above the sea level, located in the Himalayan mountains, in Jammu and Kashmir in northern India.

 

Rajmachi road is a gravel dirt track located in the rugged mountains of Sahyadri in India. This steep road climbs up to the forts of Rajmachi: Shrivardhan fort and Manaranjan Fort.

 

Polongka La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4,844m (15,892ft) above the sea level, located in the southern part of Ladakh in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.

 

Hikkim is a high mountain village at an elevation of 4,572 m (15,000 ft) above the sea level, located in district Lahaul Spiti of Himachal Pradesh (northern India). It has the world's highest permanent post office. It’s one of the highest towns accessible by car on Earth.

 

Cradled in the Nar-Narayan mountain ranges, Badrinath is one of the most important religious places in India. Located in the town of Badrinath in Uttarakhand, India, the temple sits at an elevation of  3.133 m (10,279 ft) above the sea level.

 

Loam’s view point is a beautiful viewpoint at an elevation of 780m above the sea level located in the Anamalai Hills of the Western Ghats, in India. It's situated in the 9th hairpin bend towards Valparai from Pollachi on the Valparai Ghat Road. The road is quite risky and prone to accidents. You have to be extra careful while passing through the twists and turns that are abundant on the road.
