Tarim Desert Road is an asphalted road crossing the Taklamakan Desert from North to South in China. The 552-kilometer-long desert crossing highway is the world's longest highway across a shifting-sand desert.

Kirgizjangal Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4,950m (16,240 ft) above the sea level, located in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.

Mana Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 5.545m (18,192ft) above the sea level, located in the Himalayas on the border between India and China. It’s one of the highest vehicle-accessible pass in the world.

 

La Ken La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 5,190 m (17,030 ft) above the sea level, located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.

Chiragsaldi Pass is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 4,980m (16,338 ft) above the sea level, located in the Kunlun Mountains, in the Xinjiang Autonomous Region of the People's Republic of China.

Mount Davis Path is a paved route climbing up to Mount Davis the westernmost hill on Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong, at an elevation of 269 m (883 ft) above the sea level.

 

Mi La is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 5,010m (16,437ft) above the sea level, located in the Tibet Autonomous Region of China.

Kulma Pass is an international high mountain pass, at an elevation of 4,362 m (14,311 ft) above the sea level, located across the Pamir Mountains, on the China–Tajikistan border.

 

Aizhai Winding Road is a very scenic drive in the mountainous Hunan province of China. This road leads from Aizhai township up to the Aizhai bridge.

The Karakoram Highway (known informally as the KKH) is said to be the highest paved international road in the world, but at its peak at the China-Pakistan border it is only paved on the Chinese side. The road has a length of 1,300 km (800 mi): Pakistan: 887 km (551 mi) and China: 413 km (257 mi). it was started in 1959 and was completed in 1986 after 27 years of construction.
