Tizi N´Talghaumt is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.907m (6,256ft) above the sea level located in the central part of Morocco.
The pass is located on the boundary between the Errachidia province (in the Dra-Tafilalt region) and the Khénifra province (in the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region). The drive through the pass provides stunning views, with rugged cliffs, deep gorges, and lush valleys.
Nestled between the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountain ranges, the road to the summit, also referred to as Tizi n' Talrhemt, is known as Route Nationale N°13 (N-13). Though it's paved and in good condition, it remains notably steep. This winding road offers an exhilarating journey, allowing travelers to immerse themselves in the area's natural beauty.
The pass stretches 50.8 km (31.56 miles) from Ait El Abbass in the south to Midelt in the north. With panoramic views at every bend, the road undulates, losing elevation as it hugs the contours of hillsides and snakes through valleys. The region experiences an Alpine climate. From the summit, you can enjoy expansive vistas of the surrounding mountains and valleys. Additionally, a minor gravel road at the top leads to Tizi n’Taroubia, at 2,339m (7,673ft) above sea level.
