The R107, a road through the central Anti Atlas Mountains

R107 is the name of a beautiful scenic road located in the Souss-Massa region of Morocco running through Morocco's beautiful landscapes.

Road R107

Nestled in the central part of the Anti-Atlas mountains in Morocco, the road improved the last times: it is now paved and pretty wide. It’s no longer the challenge to drive that may have drawn adventurers in the past. The road is 94.8 km (58.90miles) long, running north-south from Tafraout, in Tiznit Province, towards El Kasba, in Tata Province.

The road tops out at 1.507m (4,944ft) above the sea level with curves and vertigo-inducing drops. It climbs up to Canyon de l'Assif n'Mouguene, (the "Grand Canyon of Morocco") and then descends to the Gorges and the Oasis of Igmir. The drive offers breathtaking views.
