Tizi n' Timicha, also known as Col de Timicha, is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.409m (7,903 ft) above the sea level, located in the High Atlas, a mountain range in central Morocco in Northern Africa. It’s one of the highest mountain passes of Morocco.
The road over the pass is called P7319. It’s extremely steep. This road is usually open all year, but it can be closed anytime when the access is not cleared of snow. The higher parts of the High Atlas mountains receive snow during winter; however, it is relatively rare for roads to be blocked. Valleys may be susceptible to flash flooding from rain and in spring (from snowmelt). The road over the pass is asphalted, but there are some gravel sections along the route.
