Tizi-n-Tirherhouzine is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 2.675m (8,776ft) above the sea level, located in the Drâa-Tafilalet region of Morocco. It’s one of the highest roads of the country.
Set high on the east side of the High Atlas Mountains, the road to the summit is fully paved since 2014. It’s called R703. The road is pretty defiant, with hairpin turns, steep sections and dangerous weather conditions.
Tucked away on the central part of the country, the pass is 34.4 km (21.37 miles) long, running north-south from Agoudal to Aït Hani.
